We launched in early 2015 with the event entitled ‘Collaboration’.
The event attracted 100+ young professionals across various industries. Keen to differentiate ourselves from other networking events, we recognised the importance of including collaborative activities to gain insight into challenges our members are facing. Career progression and job opportunities that recognise and/or utilise Latin American qualifications and experience were common areas that members identified as key challenges.
Based on this feedback, we sent a survey to our member to dig deeper and understand more about their experience with these challenges. The findings were then presented to a panel of experts (HR Managers, Head Hunters etc.) at a recruitment roundtable.
The outcomes from these discussions were presented back to members at the following networking event in August.
